"how many recordscan be broken without problems"? None. Data corruption is bad.Did you mean physical disk drives? In that case, if you are using RAID1 or RAID5, one disk. If you are using all RAID6,...

I have one disk group configured with 48 disks and in the Disk Group, I have several Virtual disk that are RAID 1 or RAID 5 .

Contact HPE EVA Support.Have them help you figure out what is wrong.If any RAID set is broken (not just degraded due to loss of a drive), the array will stop all IO to the affected virtual disks.

If a disk fails, the array will re-organize to get fully redundant again. Same if the next disk fails after this reconstruction. This works as long as you have enough free space.

Yes was wrongI had ordered 4 cables on ebay,one 0k...and three faults!So i re-ordered new cables from other people(uk,usa)and no problems.Works perfect

Disk presentation: a little confuse

The port wwid(port of controller) and port wwid(port of the hb card on hpux server)are different,when i present disk i have to use hb card port wwid?Or port of controller?

Hiif you power down the EVA4400 from command view it shuts down the controller and then the disk enclosures by it self you must remember that the power switch is still onRegardsGive a Kudo if this helps
